CLARITE CARNIVAL 2025
KICKS OFF IN ST CLARE SCHOOL AKULUTO WITH PARENTS DAY, FOOD FEST &
INAUGURATION OF SPORTS MEET St. Clare School came alive with joy and vibrant celebrations on
Monday April 07, 2025 as the much-anticipated Clarite Carnival 2025
commenced with Parents Day, a colorful Food Fest, and the inauguration
of the Annual Sports Meet.
The event, held at 9 am in the school auditorium, witnessed enthusiastic
participation from over 300 parents and well-wishers. The day’s
proceedings were graced by Fr. Johnson Ayila, Principal of St. Anthony
School, Zunheboto, who served as the Chief Guest.
The programme began with a solemn prayer by Br. Mughavito Edmund,
followed by a melodious Welcome Song by Class 5. Students from various
classes put up a series of engaging and meaningful performances,
including choreographies, mime shows, traditional and couple dances, a
fancy dress tribute, and theatrical skits—each celebrating values such
as gratitude, environmental awareness, kindness, and biblical teachings.
In his address, Fr. Johnson Ayila expressed appreciation for the
school's efforts in nurturing talent and fostering parent-student
relationships. He officially inaugurated the Sports Day 2025, scheduled
from April 8–10, with an inspiring message on sportsmanship and unity.
Headmaster Fr. Stephen Dsouza, in his speech, thanked the parents for
their unwavering support and acknowledged the dedication of the staff
and students. The programme also featured interactive games for parents
organized by Sir Vikram, which added to the fun and laughter.
Following the cultural segment, the school campus transformed into a
bustling fairground as the Food Fest kicked off. Parents, students, and
guests enjoyed an array of homemade delicacies, traditional dishes, and
sweet treats, lovingly prepared by different classes and parent
volunteers.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Nili H. Chishi and
benediction by Beno M. Assumi, marking a successful start of Annual
Sports Meet.
With cheers, performances, and shared meals, the day stood as a
beautiful celebration of family, culture, and community.
