Visit of the Mission Secretary to North East India Fr. Charles Furtado, the mission secretary, visited the north east
mission of the Province from 15.03.2017 to 08.04.2017. He began his visit
with Christ the King Delegation of Mizoram-Tripura-Silchar, and proceeded to
Infant Jesus Delegation of Nagaland-Manipur. He also took seminars for all
the friars of these two Delegations on Child Sexual Abuse and Abuse of the
Vulnerable Adults, and preached a retreat to the sisters. Impressed by the
mission work of the friars from the province in the north east states of
India, he thanks them for their kind Franciscan hospitality, and appreciates
their generous service to the missions of the province with sacrifices.
