We are Easter people and Alleluia is our song. The Solemnity of the
Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ was celebrated with much awe and
devotion at Saccidananda with a good number of faithful joining us in the
liturgy and festivities.
Fr Provincial presided over the Easter Vigil service and prayerfully led the
people into the various aspects of the commemoration of the Paschal Mystery
of Christ. He also broke the Word of God elucidating the importance of the
resurrection to us Christians. Fr Deepak Fernandes devoutly intoned the
Exultet.
After the Vigil Service newly blessed holy water was distributed among the
faithful after which everyone gathered in the dining hall for festal
refreshments and to wish one another a happy Easter. Fr Robin thanked
everyone for their gracious and generous participation in the liturgical
services during the Holy Week.
