Pastoral Visitation – Chistalaya, Chikodi, Belgaum
Provincial Minister steered the pastoral visitation of the fraternity, Christalaya, Chikodi, Belgaum on 19th and 20th August 2021. The Guardian, Br Vijay Kumar, Br Paul DSouza, Br Veerus Concessao and Br Jason Fernandes extended a warm welcome to Br John Alwyn Dias, Provincial Minister along with Br Elvin Lopes, Provincial Secretary. The Visitation began with the introductory talk by Provincial, followed by the personal meetings. The Holy Hour was animated with the community members in the evening. Provincial Minister celebrated the Holy Eucharist on 20th August 2021. He appreciated the friars for their dedicated services in their respective responsibilities, viz. Christalaya Community, Christ the King Parish, St. Francis of Assisi School and Vimukti Maitri Cooperative Society and other related ministries. The provincial visited the Social Unit and the school. The Pastoral Visitation was concluded with a short prayer and benediction.
