Parish activity: St. Clare of Assisi Parish Pothnal

What is the activity? : Formation of Association of Children of St. Francis of Assisi.

Purpose of the association : For the stronger faith formation through children in and around Pothnal. To motivate all Christian to involve actively in the church activities. To make the parish to be supported by the parishners.

How it works? : The association works with the members who are children, who gather every week and pray in a certain place after the catechism class. The children will have a saving account which will be deposited by themselves as they contribute in every meeting, that is each child will contribute only 2 rupees.

Who is in charge? : A president, secretary and treasurer is appointed by the parish priest. And parish priest would be the spiritual assistant for the association or he can ask any priest to preside over the meetings.

The updates will be appearing on the net as the activities will be conducted. We Clarites wish all the best for this new venture of Parish Priest, Fr. Anthonyraj (senior).
