Special Prayer Service for the release of Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil On 22nd February, a special Prayer Service was conducted by DSA brothers
for the release of Fr. Tom who is said to have been abducted by ISIS in
Yemen last year Though there is no new about his whereabouts, yet Pope
Francis has requested the faithful to pray for the release of Fr. Tom. The
Special Prayer Service was conducted in DSA chapel at 7.00 p.m. There was a
good participation by the faithful from the locality and even the sisters
from the neighbouring convents. As members of one Church, we showed our
solidarity with the those suffering and others who are being tortured and
persecuted for Christian faith in the various parts of the world. In a
special way, we prayed for Fr. Tom that he may be released soon.
