Feast of Mary, the Mother of God and the New Year 2018
It is the season of Christmas, season of Joy, Jubilation and Festivals!
Yet again Saccidananda family came together to praise God for our beloved
Mother Mary as we celebrated the solemnity of the Mother of God with added
flavors of the New Year 2018.
The festivities began on the cold winter evening of the last day of the year
2017 with a prayerful Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament conducted by Fr
Deepak Fernandes as an expression of our humble gratitude to God who has had
showered bountiful blessings during the past year and to invoke His
blessings on the year ahead.
The Solemn Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Charles JR Furtado by meaningfully
breaking the Word of God to the faithful. All the community members along
with a sizable number of the faithful joined the worship and thereafter for
a gathering to wish each other a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2018.
