Day 3
Today all the Junior Capuchin Friars visited Dharshan Institute of Theology
- Deena Seva Ashram in the morning and celebrated the Ex Alumni day with a
beautiful Thanksgiving Eucharist at 6.30 am. Fr Andrew Jayaraj presided over
the Eucharist, Fr Wilson preached a scholarly homily and Fr Walter thanked
all the formators and the staff of Dharshan Institute of Theology for the
wonderful service in forming the students. Fr Salvadore, the Rector also
thanked the Junior friars for their great service in the missions and in the
province and assured the prayerful support. A sumptuous breakfast was
arranged after the Eucharist.
In the morning session the friars shared their experience as young priests
in the missions, education fields and in the province endevours.
In the evening Provincial Minister along with his Councillors interacted
with the young Friars and listened to their opinions and motivated them to
work for the glory of God. He also reminded the friars about the Franciscan
Capuchin spirit that they must practice every day in their lives.
