Lectio Brevis 2017-2018 In Every phenomenon the beginning remains always the most notable
moment. Indeed as the saying goes the Darshan Institute of Theology
witnessed a phenomenal inauguration of the academic year on Jun 2nd
2017-2018, under the dynamic leadership of Rev Fr. Albert Lewis the Dean
of Studies.
The inaugural mass to the Holy Spirit was offered by Rev. Fr. Paul
Melwyn D’souza, the 3rd provincial councilor. In his homily he
highlighted on the importance of the wakeup call and the need to be
attuned to it in our daily lives.
At 10:15 am all were invited to the refectory for a ‘high tea’ followed
by the Lectio Brevis . Bro Kiran Moins presented his thesis on the
topic, Creation groaning in travail. Fr Benoy the provincial of Krista
Jothi , New Delhi released the calendar of the institute Later the
professors gave a brief introduction on their subjects and Fr Salvador
Fernnades proposed the vote of thanks and the inaugural secession ended
with the D.S.A anthem .
