St Clare School celebrated World Environment day on Wednesday, 5th June 2024. On this day Students were requested to bring a sapling with following instructions.
1. Make sure those plants which are brought by you turn out to be big trees.
2. They must be in small bags.
3. Don't pluck away the plants which are on the road side or around your house.

According to the instructions all the students gathered at 8.15 am in the school campus. In the Primary School Fr James Furtado, Asst Headmaster beautifully explained about the environment and need for the taking care of it. In the High school, Fr Stephen Dsouza as well as Sir Dingtanlung gave input sessions on environment day. Thereafter all the High school students proceeded to the St Clare Auditorium for the video presentation on environment day animated by Fr Stephen Dsouza. The presentation included videos on beautiful nature and surroundings, destructions done by human being and future trouble as well as Tips on taking care of the environment. Immediately after the presentation Fr Stephen Dsouza along with some students and Sir Vikram went to several churches around Akuluto to give the plants on behalf of the school.
