Seminar at FISI Two days seminar for the Superiors, Treasurers,Parish Priests,
Principals and Head Masters on the Financial Administration of the Province
was held on the 20th and 21st of March, 2014 at Shanthi Sadana FISI. The
seminar begun with a prayer followed by the Key Note address by our
Provincial Minister Rev. Fr. Joseph Dolphy Pais, after which Treasurer of
the Province Rev. Fr. Joachim D’souza, presented with statistics the
financial situation of the province. After hearing the financial situation
of the province the participants were sent in groups to discuss the hurdles
that the province at larges faces to make it self-sufficient, after the
group discussion the secretaries of the group presented the report to the
gathering and continued with the discussion of the agenda. Over all it was a
grand success, since many of the concrete plans and policies were decided
through the fruitful discussions. Fr. Alwyn Dias, Vicar Provincial & Fr.
Andrew Anil Sequeira were the moderators and Fr. Dancy Martis & Fr. Naveen
D’souza were the Minuting secretary for this seminar. We thank the Friars
who made it a point to contribute their visions and plans for the betterment
of the province. We thank Fr. Denis Veighas for making our stay comfortable.
