The Golden Birthday of Br John Alwyn Dias, Provincial Minister of Holy
Trinity Capuchin Province Karnataka was celebrated on the day of Palm
Sunday, 28th March 2021. It was celebrated with a meaningful celebration of
Holy Eucharist officiated by Provincial Minister along with friars of the
Provincialate-Community. Fr John Alwyn Dias preached a meaningful homily and
spoke about the significance of the Palm Sunday. After the Mass the extended
family of Saccidananda (the faithful) felicitated and shared the Birthday
wishes. Due to Covid 19 situation a simple celebration was observed. In the
evening the friars of the Bangalore communities gathered for an evening
prayer to thank the Lord and seek His blessings on Fr John Alwyn Dias. After
the Prayer service a short wishing programme was held and simple meal was
served. It was a day filled with joy and mirth.
