Pastoral Visitation of St Padre Pio Friary/Curia/Shrine,, Kabulamuliro, Kampala, Uganda 19 October 2024
The Provincial Minister, Br John Alwyn Dias paid a pastoral visit to St Padre Pio Friary/Curia/Shrine, Kabulamuliro, Kampala, Uganda on 19 October 2024. The Community members warmly welcomed Provincial along with the Provincial Administrator, Br George Maxim D’Silva and Provincial Secretary, Br Joywin Dias. After which the Provincial met the friars Br Muhasa Michael, Vicar and Director of Padre Pio Shrine, Kabulamuliro, and OFS Spiritual Director, Br Denis Oscar Ogwal, House and Custody Economus, Br Jerald, the Post Novice and the Custos and Guardian of the community, Br Fortunate John Baluku Community dialogue was held wherein Provincial briefed about his concerns and future plans. He appreciated the good works done by all the friars carrying out various ministries and thanked Br John Fortunate Baluku for animating the Custody well. Few suggestions were given for the betterment of the Custody. The Pastoral Visitation was concluded with a short prayer and benediction.
