Water Purification Unit at Pothnal The water purification unit was installed at Pothnal. The
Purification unit was sponsored by the Loyala community, Manvi viz.
Fr. Eric. The unit was inaugurated by Mr. Hampayyanayak, the MLA of
Manvi Constituency. It was a great achievement of Capuchin Community
of Pothnal. The installation of the purification unit took place
under the whole and soul leadership of Fr. Anthony Raj (senior), the
Parish priest of St. Clare’s Church, Pothnal. During the
inauguration of the unit there were many eminent fathers and sisters
and local leaders present. As there is a dire need of good water in
this area of Karnataka, this water purifying unit stands as hallmark
of service and generosity to the people who need good water to
drink. Thanks to Jesuit fathers, especially Fr. Eric.
