Free Health Programmes for the Public under National Health Scheme
On 20th November 2017, Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra ®, Vimukti,
Banakal organized an awareness programme on “Free Health Programmes
for the Public under National Health Scheme” through the support of
Banakal Primary Health Centre. Mr. B.V. Suresh, President of Banakal
Grama Panchayath was the Chief Guest. Mrs. Beena, the President of
Vimukti SHG Federation, Banakal lighted the lamp and inaugurated the
programme. The programme began at 10-00 a.m. with a prayer song. Mr.
Mohan Kumar, Lab Technician of Banakal Primary Health centre
explained to the participants about the different diseases such as
Cancer, BP, Diabetes and so on. Ms. Shantha, Women Health Assistant
spoke about the women and Child Health care. She introduced
different Government Schemes such as Sneha Clinic, Health Card for
the mother, Janani Suraksha programme, Madilu Yojane, Prasoothi
Araike, Janani Shishu Suraksha programme, Nagu magu, Shuchi, and so
on. The programme was concluded at 1-00 p.m. with vote of thanks,
followed by meals to all the participants. 78 women benefited from
the programme.
