Pastoral Visitation
of Assisi Friary and St Theresa Parish Kakira, Jinja Uganda 24

The Provincial Minister, Br John Alwyn Dias paid a pastoral visit to
the Parish Community of St Theresa and Assisi Friary, Kakira, Jinja
Uganda 24 October 2021. The Guardian of the community, Br Lawrence
Baluku and Br Fortunate John Baluku welcomed Provincial warmly along
with the Br Godwin Ogam, Custos, Provincial Treasurer, Br Vijesh
Menezes and Provincial Secretary, Br Elvin Lopes. Provincial met the
brothers of the community personally. Provincial also paid visit to
St Peter’s School, Iguluibi, the Chapel and the convent of the
Sisters of Joseph of Tarbes, He addressed the brothers suggested his
fraternal guidance and advice. The brothers were appreciated for
their committed services in services in the Friary, Church, School
Health Center and Training Center. Provincial also visited St
Francis Higher Secondary School, Kanyagoga and Holy Cross Sisters’
Convent. The Pastoral Visitation was concluded with a short prayer
and benediction.
