FRIENDLY VOLLEY BALL AND FOOTBALL MATCH, ST CLARE SCHOOL AKULUTO VS ST PETER SCHOOL ATOIZU
St Clare School in collaboration with St Peter School Atoizu, organized friendly Volleyball match for girls and football match for the boys at St Clare High School ground on 02nd November 2023. St Peter school students headed by Principal Fr Ashiko Abraham, Sr Rosalio and teachers reached St Clare school campus at 9 .30 am in five vehicles. Fr Stephen Dsouza the Headmaster of St Clare school addressing the players said, “Sport is an essential element of Education. Sport teaches us to face life, face problems and unexpected circumstances of life. It keeps us fit physically inorder to do well in studies and reduces the mental stress.” He also welcomed all the students and all the gathered audience to enjoy the sports festival.

Girls’ volleyball match began at 10.30 am, after the two sets all went down to the lower ground, for the football match. The shouts of students, “East or west St Clare is best” as well as “SPS all the best”, were resounding around the ground. It was indeed a great day as all the students enjoyed the day, having good time with one another. The girls of St Clare School defeated the opponents in volleyball match by 3 -1, where as in football match, St Peter school students defeated the opponents by 3-2 goals. In concluding session Fr Ashiko Abraham thanked the teachers and Capuchin fathers for all the wonderful arrangement of the game. The winners were awarded with the prizes for their hard work and extra ordinary game. Immediately after the concluding session players of St Clare and St Peter were given refreshments, thereafter all proceeded back to their home destination at 3 p.m.
