AND BIBLE VERSE RECITATION COMPETITION IN ST CLARE CHURCH, AKULUTO
St Clare Church Akuluto under the leadership of Parish Priest Fr
Stephen Dsouza and Asst PP Fr James Furtado celebrated the
catechists Sunday and Bible Verse recitation competition on Sunday
05th November 2023. The Parishioners gathered at 9 am for the mass.
Fr Stephen Dsouza celebrated the mass and preached on the theme of
Humility. He quoted several life examples of Mother Theresa and
Jesus to emphasize on the theme and asked everyone to become humble
before the Lord. Immediately after the mass 19 students participated
in the Bible verse recitation competition. It was a great
opportunity for the children to learn the word of God. Sir Vikram
and Catechist Aboto were the Judges for the event. The First, second
and third prizes were won by Kumnu, Likupu and Kainoli respectively.
On this occasion Catechist Aboto was honored by Frs Stephen and
James as well as the Catholic Community.
