CATHOLIC YOUTH PRE
- CHISTMAS GATHERING IN NAGALAND UNIVEERSITY
Catholic youth of Nagaland University
gathered for pre- Christmas celebration on Sunday, 19th November
2023 in Lumami campus. Capuchin Fathers of St Clare church Akuluto,
under the guidance of Bishop who take care of the spiritual needs of
Catholic youth studying in Nagaland University had the opportunity
to witness the celebration. As the Advent season as well as
Christmas season is approaching very soon all the youth will be
going away for Christmas holidays. Therefore, all the Catholic youth
gathered on 19th November to have pre-Christmas celebration to share
the joy of Christ birth. On this occasion solemn mass was offered by
Fr James Furtado. Fr Stephen Dsouza the preacher of the day inspired
everyone emphasizing on the theme saying, “make use of the gifts and
talents for the greater glory of God”. Immediately after the mass
there was pre-Christmas celebration with cutting of Christmas cake
and sharing of the refreshments.
