CHILDREN’S DAY 2024 IN ST CLARE SCHOOL AKULUTO - NAGALAND
St Clare school celebrated children’s day on Thursday, 14th November 2024 in St Clare Auditorium. All Clarites gathered in School Campus at 8.30 am. The programme began at 8.30 am anchored by Ms Katila. Teachers presented several creative events such as singing of old hindi songs, English as a popery of Talent and Laughter, some songs with melodious voices and so on. On this occasion certificates of Annual sports day as well as Literary events were handed over to the students. Fr Stephen Dsouza the headmaster, in his address on children’s day asked the students to make use of their lives for the betterment of the society to bring unity, to love all religions, denominations, tribes and all people to create a better world. Ms Hukheli in her speech said, “children’s day is celebrated inorder to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. She also highlighted several good virtues of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru the first Prime Minister of India. On this occasion the Parents of Mr Tovi M. Chishi the topper of HSLC 2023 examination was honoured by the School Management. The programme ended at 11 am with the singing of the School Anthem, ‘Lady Clare shining star’. Inorder to sweeten the day juice and biscuits were distributed to the students.
