The passing over of St
Francis of Assisi in to eternal life : (Transitus)
The passing over of St. Francis of Assisi
from this life to the next or in other words Transitus was meaningfully
and meditatively held at Dharshan Institute of theology on .The
prayerful atmosphere brought back the memories of St .Francis .The first
year theologians took active part in depicting the last days of Francis
and Deacon Kiran Monis preached a fitting homily based on the theme ,
“Francis the mirror of Christ” . Fr. Salvador the Rector of the
institute later thanked the brothers for their wonderful performance and
wished everyone a happy feast.
The solemnity of our founder.
The solemnity of our founder was celebrated with great joy .Fr Chethan
Lobo presided over the festal mass and preached a fitting homily and
invited all to be like our Founder , a activist of peace . Many priests
from in and around , as well as the faithful added beauty to the
celebrations . The choir too with their angelic voices made the
celebrations lively. Later Fr. Salvador invited all the faithful to
participate in the fraternal agape . Fr Chetan lobo was felicitated and
thus all enjoyed the delicious food .
