Saccidananda, Bangalore, 15.10.2018 “There are two great days in life, the day we are born and the day
we discover why”
- William Barklay The community of Saccidananda celebrated the great day in the
life of our Provincial and Fr provincial himself thanked God for the
life of constant discovery for God and his goodness as he joyfully
stepped into the fifty eighth year of his grace filled life and
Saccidananda family along with the councillors, guest friars, sisters and
family members of Fr Provincial joined him to celebrate the gift of
life.
We thanked God for all the graces bestowed on Fr Dolphy during the
evening prayer followed by which there was a short wishing programme. Fr
Vincent Furtado, the former provincial and professor of philosophy in
his scholarly yet humorous speech expressed his gratitude and wished Fr
Dolphy health and happiness. Fr Provincial then thanked all those who
were gathered, for their prayers and encouragement. The event concluded
with the sumptuous banquet prepared in honor of Provincial.
