Pastoral Visitation – St Fidelis
Friary, Monte Mariano, Farangipet, Mangalore
Provincial Minister had the pastoral visitation of the fraternity,
St Fidelis Friary, Monte Mariano, Farangipet, on 17th and 18th
September 2021. The Guardian, Br Gerald Lobo, Br Jeevan D’Mello,
Vicar and Novice Master, Br Crispin, Br Cornelius, Br Aloysius, Br
Dilraj, Br Joel Lopez, Assist. Novice Master & Treasurer, Br Ivan
Pinto, Asst. Provincial Vocation Promoter and all the novices
extended a warm welcome to Br John Alwyn Dias, Provincial Minister
along with Br Elvin Lopes, Provincial Secretary. The Visitation
commenced with the introductory talk by Provincial, followed by the
personal meetings of all the novices followed by the friars. The
Holy Hour was animated with the community members in the evening of
17th September 2021. Provincial Minister celebrated the Holy
Eucharist on 18th September 2021. He gave a befitting homily and
remembered the day’s Saint Joseph of Cupertino. In the Common
meeting Provincial thanked all the friars for carrying out various
responsibilities and other pastoral ministry in and around the
Diocese. The Pastoral Visitation was concluded with a short prayer
and benediction.
