MS KAINOLI CHISHI OF ST CLARE
SCHOOL AKULUTO, NAGALAND SECURES SECOND PRIZE IN DISTRICT LEVEL
SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2023
Student of St Clare school, Ms Kainoli Chishi participated in the
individual category district level science exhibition conducted in
Corner stone school, Zunheboto on 29th August 2023. It was a proud
moment to the school as around 15 schools participated in the
individual category and Ms Kainoli Chishi, with her wonderful
presentation on electric circuit model, bagged the second prize. All
credit goes to Sir Dinglanlung the science teacher of st Clare
school who helped her to prepare the wonderful model. The
competition also included group category and science seminar. St
Clare school was invited to participate only in individual category.
The electric circuit model prepared by the student included two
batteries, two switches, connecting wires, two LED bulbs and
cardboard. In the model, positive terminal of the battery was
connected to the positive terminal of the bulb and negative terminal
of the battery was connected to the negative terminal of the bulb.
In a similar way the negative terminal of the battery was connected
to one end of the switch and positive terminal of the battery was
connected to the other end of the switch. In this way the bulbs were
connected in parallel combination in order to maintain the voltage
constant. During the award presentation, Ms Kainoli Chishi and Sir
Dinglanlung her tutor were honored with the certificates.
